One of THOSE days
Ugh. I had one of those days. You probably know them—the "freakout" days where bad news exacerbates your anxiety. I knew I was in a tailspin and for a while did not want to stop it. Finally, I realized this was counterproductive to my mental health. I sat in my office chair, took some deep breaths, and told myself that I had had enough. Amazingly, it worked. So I rewarded myself with cupcakes last night. Sometimes you just gotta treat yourself! :)

Yay! In the support group I go to, we always encourage each other to reward ourselves : )

Little things can change my mood from almost manic to depressive in a matter of seconds. It's good you have a method of relaxation though.
Do you have a certain relaxation thing you do to calm down?
I reward myself with sugary treats all the time. I reward myself for good things that I have done, good things that I might do in the future and, of course, all the good things I did but forgot to reward myself for in the past.
As a result, I am a happy fatty...
That's great I'm so happy for you. It's a matter of time you'll be fine> I think for people like us we just need to manage it.
I always give myself a reward when i've ahcieved something, normally a take away pizza!. i think we should all treat ourselves from time to time :)
Good to hear you managed to work your way through it, i wish i could do that more
